I've been dabbling with 3D graphics since the days of VU-3D on the old ZX Spectrum in 1983. These days I almost exclusively use Cinema 4D version 6 (a cover-disc freebie - one day, when I'm rich, I'll buy the latest version), and Poser (also version 6, but paid-for this time).

All of the images in these pages were created "in-camera" (as movie-makers might describe it); that is, they're direct from the software's renderer and haven't been touched-up afterwards.
